Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is powered by a single-cylinder air-cooled 499cc Twinspark engine, which can produce 27.2 bhp of max power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm @ 4000 rpm. Power is transmitted via a five-speed gearbox. Bullet 500 has been both carburetor and Keihin Electronic Fuel Injection type fuel supply. According to the company this engine is able to provide 32-33 KM/L mileage for the users. To fire up the engine this bike has both kick and electric starting option.

Dimension and chassis:

If we look into the dimension of Bullet 500 it has a classy dimension. 2140mm length, 790mm width, 1090mm height along with 1360mm wheelbase and 135 ground clearance this bike has a perfect dimension. 13.5 L fuel tank capacity for long run journeys and all makes this bike 194 KG’s. This entire setup is placed over Single down-tube type chassis frame.

Tyre, brakes and suspension:

90/90-19-Tubed Tyre is seen at the front of Bullet 500 and 120/80-18-Tubed Tyre is seen at the rear side. For the brakes this bike comes with both side Disc plates. It features a 280mm disc brake in the front with a two piston caliper in the front, and 240mm rear disc plates. For the vintage and classy look the rim remained with spoke type.
Royal Enfield placed Telescopic Forks front suspension for the smooth riding and Twin Gas Charged Shock Absorbers at the rear side for heavy duty load.

Electricals and meter:

12V 12 Ah battery is placed for this bike electrical operation. With this battery halogen type front headlamp, regular bulb type rear lamp and turning lamps all runs perfectly. Without that it has an analogue type meter console, which has all the necessary aspects a rider will expect while riding.
