The new Apache 200 4V ABS that has been launched in Nepal is the same Apache motorcycle that in India, save for the BS6-compliant engine. Except for the engine, TVS has made absolutely no changes in this motorcycle and it has been directly imported to India. The Nepal-spec new Apache RTR 200 4V is powered by a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This motor churns out 20.5 PS of power at 8500 RPM and 18.1 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The engine comes coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. While we get the BS6-compliant Apache, the Nepal-spec model gets a BS4-compliant mill. Also, it isn't fuel-injected and instead gets a carburettor. The Apache 200 4V ABS also gets TVS' (A-RT) Race-Tuned Slipper Clutch and a feather-touch start system. The Apache 200 4V gets telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. It runs on 17-inch Eurogrip Protorq SR racing spec radial tyres. The front tyre measures 90/90-17 while the rear one is a 130/70 section 17-inch unit. For braking duties, the motorcycle gets roto petal disc brakes at both the ends. At the front, it gets a 270 mm disc while at the rear one is a 240 mm unit. It also gets dual-channel ABS with Super-Moto mode. It also gets an all-digital instrument cluster with TVS Smart Xonnect system.
Commenting on the launch of the new TVS motorcycle, Mr Shahil Agrawal, Managing Director, Jagdamba Motors Private Limited, said, JMPL are committed to bringing the most innovative and segment-defining products to their valuable customers in Nepal. The new 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V brings a best-in-class combination of features, style and performance.
As already mentioned before, the new 2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS has been launched in Nepal at a starting price of Rs. 3,39,900, Ex-showroom, Kathmandu. The motorcycle is available in two stunning colour options: Glossy Black and Pearl White.
