RC 200 is an entry-level racing sports bike from the KTM. Moreover, it is one of the best-selling premium motorcycles under 200cc in the Nepalese market.

KTM RC 200 Overview
KTM RC 200 is a racing sports motorcycle known for its excellent handling and performance. It offers modern technology, hardware, and remarkable features along with aggressive styling.



Looks
The new design of RC 200 clearly signals a generation shift. It now has a more mature, larger, and appealing look than the previous model.

The newest version gets redesigned LED headlights with LED DRLs, the same unit as on the Duke 250. Furthermore, the turn blinkers are now installed on the fairing as well.

It also comes with a high visor upfront. There is also a revised two-piece fender to protect both the radiator and the engine.

The bike is fitted with an underbelly exhaust system, which gives it a sleek appearance from the sides. Likewise, the revised bodywork is said to provide improved ergonomics and wind protection.



Other visual changes include new fairing, folding mirrors, adjustable handlebars, a bigger fuel tank, split pillion grip rails, and a sharp rear-end design with an LED taillamp.

Furthermore, the updated KTM RC 200 2022 model is available with two dual-tone color options: Silver Metallic (Silver/Orange) and Dark Galvano (Black/Orange).
Performance
All-new KTMRC200 gets the same 199.5cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with BS6 emission norms. As a result, it continues to produce a maximum power of 25 PS at 10000 rpm and a peak torque of 19.5 Nm at 8000 rpm.While the power and torque figures stay unchanged, KTM has installed a larger airbox, which is said to increase responsiveness. In addition, the 2022 model has a curved radiator for better cooling.

Furthermore, the motor of this bike is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Dimensions
The new generation KTM RC 200 has a kerb weight of 160 kg which is 1.5kg lighter than the previous model. The ground clearance is 158 mm and the seat height is 835mm.



Hardware
Talking about hardware, KTM 200 RC is built on a new lighter and stronger split-steel trellis frame. WP-sourced upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock handle the suspension duties.

In terms of braking, the front disc has been increased to 320mm while the rear disc of 230mm remains the same.
